Ok ok, let's actually cut the fluff here because this is my Apple Intellegence @ WWDC 2024 moment. Let me tell you what went wrong, what have I done so far and what am I gonna do next, and when to expect this series to kick off for real and be transparent with you guys.
Procrastination. Simple. Been a chronic flaw for me, and usually that made me push away M&P into later and later tomes, HOWEVER, that doesn't mean that I've completely put it aside, you'll see why in a moment. But it is very hard for a person like me who may or may not have some conditions that basically hops on one project to another.
Yes, I did broke my own promise to halt the other projects (See: IASIP Cold Opens, Scene It?/Apple Junk Archive), and also focus on my personal life, how selfish of me, but that is a flaw that I'm trying to work on and become a more well-planned person.
Glad you asked. Basically, everything. What am I working on is absolutely massive in terms of content which is another reason why this is taking so long. To give you a bit of a preview, M&P is going to be the whole series of this, and the miniseries within the series like for example "Webcomic Edition" (where you find the lovable Banks family) and a new one called "Linus & Co.", and possibly even more miniseries to come in the future (There's another one that their title name is hidden around somewhere).
And for some who wonder why all of this is necessary, my goal here for this project is to have readers have a variety of miniseries that they can choose from and relax with lighter more fun tones to the more darkly hilarious ones, and as for those who love "lore" for whatever reason, ooh this series is filled to the brim with hidden "lore" for you guys to chew on.
I am also thinking of restarting the PiggyMcPig.com website from scratch once again because this site is just filled with bad code that needs to be reset and start over again. That does remind me of migrating the sites... and the redesign of this site.. ok no, am gonna try to put focus on this series as much as I can.
Cannot guarantee that. At this point if I were to throw out any date, my brain will actively work to go against it. But I do want to tell you that this new series is about 90% done, all that really is left is to finish up the first season to these 3 miniseries and then draw them and release them. Other than what I said earlier, that's about it. Am also dabbling into some other code and am dreaming of turning it into an app where you can enjoy M&P wherever you are, but again, that's for later, for now I'm actually finishing up and it's way overdue to release.
Sticking to the tradition of these anniversaries of reflecting and planning, looking at it now, it is a bit bizarre-
I'm just kidding. Not the time to reflect, but it is time for me to actually finish this behemoth and finally show it to the world. It may seem small at release, but wait a bit longer and you'll feel why it took so long and you can appreciate it more. After all, you have been very patient with me, and I thank you very much for waiting this long. Also, expect another announcement about this series in the coming days.
